Futures First is involved in Trading domain on the five major futures exchanges in the world. The Futures industry is a major participant in the global economy.

There are over 100 separate futures exchanges which trade every sort of product from interest rates to peanuts from oil to cocoa. However the major exchanges and the ones with the greatest volume and liquidity are The CME, CBOT, Euronext LIFFE, Eurex and the ICE.
When you are working for Futures First, you are participating in these markets where the major investment banks and the largest financial institutions in the world participate. You compete with the best.
It is not a sales or broking job which we are offering. In this profession you will make decisions on a continuing basis about the events that shape our world, economic, financial, political, environmental and even sports and social news affect the performance of markets. While at Futures First, you are at the centre of these events and can take advantage of events as they occur by using your skills and judgment.

To start off, with the details of types of questions asked in each of the sections in Aptitude Test:
1st written exam -
5 min. 30 questions.
Based on calculations. eg. – 35*41/13 + 302/7

Tips for Written Exam one :
1.To improve your calculations skills in the first round of written test, learn up the first fifty squares by heart.
2.Take efficient practice to improve your calculation skills.
3.Utilize the time properly, if you feel some question might take more time in solving, then skip and go for the other immediately.
4.Solve the simple questions first, later go with the complicated ones.

2nd written exam -
30 min. 30 questions. D.I (Data Interpretation) and Maths C.A.T type questions.

Tips for Written Exam two :

1. Aptitude questions should be done carefully.
2. Level of questions would be moderate to easy, but becomes tough because you have just 30 minutes to answer 30 questions.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW (TECHNICAL)

You have to point out any field in which you have interest and complement your claim by showing that you have done some kind of training or certification related to it. then they will grill you on it.
  
One of our mates at Career Trick chose finance and more specifically financial markets.
The questions asked were:
1. The previous days BSE and NSE index
2. What is the true purpose of a stock market?
3. What are the products traded in NSE?
4. What is inflation? What are the ways to fight against inflation?
5. Explain derivatives
6. When would a person holding long in futures make profit?
7. Explain interest rate derivatives
8. What is the underlying instrument of Indian interest rate derivative products?
9. How are interest rates and bond prices related?
10. Prices of which commodities in the globe would rise in the coming few months?
11. Reasons for the last financial crisis.
12. Any prior investment experience.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW ( 2-HR rounds)

In this round the interviewer will pick out the not so good points of your resume and keep on asking you questions pertaining to it. Here they just want to see if you can handle stress and yet think fast, your risk taking appetite, dedication and motivation for working in this field. Unlike other HR interviews here one has to give importance to this round too.

Tips for Personal Interview :
1.Never look the watch while solving the maths questions, you don’t have time for that.
2.They are very experienced people, so be true. Speak frankly and straight forward.
3.Be patient and bold enough, to face the stress levels.

SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCES

Both the aptitude tests were of good standard. Both the interviews were 30 min to 40 min. long. Every sentence you say will be scrutinized, also every claim in your resume will be looked into.
