Recruitment Process of EXL Services

Job Profile : Business Analyst

Exl Services campus recruitment process consists of four rounds.

1^st Round: Online test (by a third party, usually cocubes will be the test maker)

Duration of test: 30 minutes.

Total No. of Questions: 30
Reading Comprehensions & Vocabulary: 10
Aptitude Questions: 10 (Important topics to cover: time, speed, distance related questions are asked)
Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation: 10

2^nd round: Extempore round

In extempore round, a topic will be given to the candidate and they will be provided with 30 seconds of time to think on the topic, followed by the individual should speak about the topic for one minute.

Usually very easy topics are given during this round. For ex: You might be asked about facebook, you may be asked to speak about red color, may your favorite dish, film star etc.

This round is solely meant to know, how good you are at expressing things.

3^rd round: Interview, Duration of Interview: 20 minutes (approximately)

Technical Interview, where the candidate will be asked to solve puzzles, brain teasers. There various websites were you could find some decent puzzles to practice. A thorough practice would be a plus during the interview process.

Tip: Even, if you don’t have an idea to solve the puzzle, give a try in multiple ways and don’t be dumb in front of interviewer with a blank face. Never leave an impression that you can’t solve the puzzle. Because there are puzzles which can’t be solved and the recruiters solely look for your approach to the given problem and outcome is a secondary issue.

4^th round: HR interview, Duration: 10 minutes (approximately)

The HR interview goes same as any other company, usually general questions like:

Why EXL services?

What qualities make you different from others?

What are your strengths and weaknesses?
