Now comes the real challenge: A Technical Interview, which further follows a HR round!
Written test is very important and a student must be highly constrained on time duration. Vocabulary plays a major role in the elimination process. Also an easy writing would be a part of vocabulary, which tests your writing skills.
CSE students, should be able to explain basic concepts and be able to write programs in ‘C’ language -say  Fibonacci , Factorial , Prime , Palindrome , Armstrong in C or Java.
A high concentration on pointers and structures would be of high help.
A strong command in basics of ‘C’ language would easily fetch a job even for a non-cse graduate. Simple programs like printing numbers with loops, reverse a string, palindrome etc. would be asked.
Also be ready for this question “why you want to join in software industry?” (a sure shot question for non-cse students).
 Tech Mahindra Recruitment

Do’s and Don’ts in HR round:
Never say ‘NO’ to relocation
Pace your vocabulary skills and be confident on whatever you speak.
DON’T stammer, it creates a negative impression in the interviewers mind.
Be bold and speak politely and have a brief knowledge about the delegates of the company and it’s vision and missions.
Finally stay cool and don’t get tensed!
And never ever given a expression of tensed face to the employer.
Hope the above helps you in the recruitment process.
All the Best!!
