Eligibility:

• The applicant must be from BE/B.Tech/ME/MTech background, must have 6-9 years of experience designing and building software applications with an emphasis on web and multi-tiered systems.
• 3 years of experience working as a member of a team with senior staff either remote or overseas
• Experience managing other staff on daily tasks and knowledge sharing and on facilitating growth at  both an individual contributor and team level.

Roles & Requirements:

• Detail-oriented, self-managed, self-starter comfortable with working both independently and collaborating with other team members, including those overseas
• Good team player with desire to share knowledge with and learn from others
• Extensive experience with J2SE 1.6 / 1.7; Java Servlets API; MVC frameworks, preferably Spring MVC; template engines; HTML and JavaScript basics; GIT; Eclipse 3.x; Maven 3; and JUnit 4
• Experience a plus in RDBMS/SQL; JDBC; Hibernate; HTTP protocols and related APIs in Java; Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and / or PostgreSQL; DHTML; XML and / or web services (Axis, WSDL, etc.); Java-based rich-client applications, preferably Eclipse/SWT); GUI APIs (SWT); and J2EE Frameworks (Spring)
• Comfortable working with Linux/Unix as desktop development and production environment
• Experienced in recruiting and retaining engineering talent
